At Churnet View Middle School, we want our children to develop a life-long love of reading and books. We prioritise the teaching of reading to support all our children in becoming fluent and efficient readers. Reading is at the front and centre of our curriculum; we continue to develop and innovate how we teach reading in our school to effectively develop our children’s knowledge, understanding and skills.
